POSITION: Screen Printer (Garments and Paper)

TYPE: Full Time

SALARY: Dependant on experience

MAIN DUTIES: This job involves screen printing single and multiple colours on garments including t-shirts, hoodies sweatshirts as well as setting up and registering multiple colour prints, mixing inks and keeping control over quality. There will also be occasional paper screen printing projects including art prints and paper products such as boxes and business cards.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: The candidate will be expected to be able to screen print to a proficient level and have proven experience of printing onto garments using a manual carousel and using a paper screen printing press. Knowledge of operating an automatic carousel is preferred but not essential. The successful candidate will be organised, pay great attention to detail and be confident in taking responsibility for printing small, medium and large size runs of multiple colour garment prints with minimal guidance on the technicalities of screen printing.

Working hours are 8.30am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday.

POSITION: Print and Customer Service Advisor

TYPE: Full Time

SALARY: Dependant on experience

MAIN DUTIES: This job involves handling and responding to email and telephone enquiries and liaising with existing customers about their print orders. Other admin tasks include scheduling print jobs, creating mockups, preparing invoices and processing payments.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: The candidate will have an enthusiasm for and understanding of screen printing as well as excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, strong initiative, flexibility to apply themselves to all aspects of the role and desire to work as part of a team. They will also display good knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word and Excel as well as Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.

Working hours are 8.30am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday.

POSITION: Seamster/Seamstress

TYPE: Casual

SALARY: £7.20/hour

MAIN DUTIES: This job involves re-labelling and basic customisation of ready made garments. Main tasks include removing and replacing existing clothing tags, attaching patches and folding and bagging across a variety of garments to a retail standard.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: The successful candidate will need to be able to demonstrate operational knowledge of industrial sewing machines including a flatbed, overlocker and coverstitch as well as great organisational skills and attention to detail. They will also need to work well as part of a team and on their own initiative. An interest in screen printing is desirable but not essential.

Working hours are 8.30am to 5.30pm.
