Q&A with cartoon parody artist Nick Thompson aka Thumbs

London born pop culture artist and graphic designer Thumbs creates cartoon parody art.  His designs crossover cartoons, movies and pop culture references, and with a background in skateboarding and a love for comic books, skate art and 90’s cartoons it’s hardly surprising. We caught up with him for a chat to understand his ideas, inspiration and plans for the future.

Our Highlights From London Fashion Week Men’s

Over the last 6 months London Collections Men has evolved into London Fashion Week Men’s. The aim of the move initiated by the British Fashion Council was to “recognise its equal importance to womenswear” and if you look at the stats it makes perfect sense. The men’s clothing market grew by 4.1% in 2015 and is expected to rise a further 22.5% by 2020 (Mintel’s British Lifestyles 2016). The 10th edition of the showcase was opened by London Mayor Sadiq Khan who called it “a truly international celebration of fashion, design and creativity”.

Why should I get neck labels screen printed?

Getting sizing and care information screen printed on the inside neck of a garment rather than ordering woven labels is both cheaper and has a faster turnaround.
