Print Studio Account Manager

Here at 3rd Rail we are looking for a highly organised person with knowledge of print to join our account management team who can help nurture and grow our customer base. 

3rd Rail is a South London based multidisciplinary print studio which primarily specialises in garment printing working with fashion and lifestyle brands. Alongside this we also have our open access studio Print Space, print art editions and deliver world class live print activations for major global brands. The team is a diverse mix of friendly and dedicated creatives all working to deliver the highest quality products and services for our clients. 

Role Description:

In the role you will act as an ambassador for 3rd Rail, building strong relationships with new and existing customers helping them through the sales process to bring in new work to the business. Tasks include quoting and invoicing order enquiries, corresponding with customers through email answering questions and keeping them updated on their orders. Beyond that you will assist in after sales tasks such as liaising with the other departments to ensure work is completed on time, garment order and other daily admin tasks such as answering the phone.


Key tasks.

  • Act as a liaison between the company and its customers. 
  • Drive enquiries and sales growth
  • Quoting and invoicing order enquiries
  • Customer service and issue resolution
  • Deliver excellent customer service by email and phone
  • Nurture customer relationships and ensure expectations and deadlines are met
  • Attend daily meetings and communicate internally with other departments.
  • Keep customers and internal operations informed regarding job progress
  • Admin tasks such as garment ordering, answering phone etc

We are a small team so sometimes there will be occasions where you need to complete additional tasks or support other departments.


Ideal Candidate

This role is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in the print industry or who is able to take on and learn technical information quickly. Working in such a fast paced industry means that being highly organised is essential all the while delivering the absolute highest level of customer service. With this role there is potential for growth and development to a senior role within the company so someone with management or leadership qualities or potential to develop these skills would be a big asset.


Skills Required

  • Basic knowledge of screen printing techniques.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Excellent telephone manner.
  • Fantastic organisational skills.
  • Basic knowledge of photoshop.
  • Basic working knowledge of google sheets / Excel
