Multi-talented Daisy Emerson is an illustrator, sign writer, hand-letterer and type enthusiast from London. An established hand-letterer has worked with some of the world’s leading companies and brands including Facebook, Google and Adidas. We had a chat with Daisy about the design she created for our Kickstarter campaign and her love of pastel colours.

We have asked some of our favourite artists to create t-shirts exclusively for the 3rd Rail Print Space Kickstarter. One of contributing illustrators is Sam Taylor who has worked with global brands including The New Yorker, Google and Nike. We caught up with him briefly to get a better idea of his design process, inspiration and career plans.
Our Kickstarter has launched! After raising enough for rent and bills we experienced a shortfall in trying to cover refurbishment costs. With the launch fast approaching we’ve decided run a Kickstarter to raise the additional £10,000 needed to make this print dream a reality.
We’re really excited to announce the launch of 3rd Rail Print Space in January 2018, a brand new 4000sqft open access screen printing facility combining paper, t-shirt and fabric in the heart of Peckham. We’ve got all the equipment but need your help raising £10k to help with with funding the building work so we can turn a car park shell into a sparkling new Print hub. (more…)
Cardiff based James L Lewis’ work has been featured in publications including Creative Review, The Guardian and Good Type. Pretty impressive considering the 21 year old only graduated last month – oh and he’s also managed to rack up over 75k followers on Instagram.
We’ve been working alongside the young lettering artist to create a limited edition screen print for social arts initiative Hopeful Traders. It will be one of the many rewards available from their Kickstarter campaign which launches this Friday so we had a chat with James about his journey and all things letter forms.
It’s been a while since we’ve had the pleasure working on an exciting collaboration so we’re really happy to announce our new partnership with social arts project Hopeful Traders. The organisation works really hard to remove the stigma around mental health and homelessness through working with artists affected by these issues on a clothing range. We had a chat with Charlie Wright who founded the initiative about how the project started, his commitment to producing ethical products and his upcoming Kickstarter campaign.
